Very hard to find, well worth the money for an amp this robust.

Bought mine brand new, came with Peter Dahl xformer. Tubes in one box,
chassis in another, the PD in a third.

As you shop for your new amp, ask where the Po listed is measured. Most
amps advertised are meaurerd on 40 meters and have somehat less on other
bands.

My Al-82 meaured with a WaveNode digital wattmeter, displays legal+ on
10 meters and other bnads.

You can increase the B+ easily on any of them to 4 kV (add a couple of capacitors to the string for the higher voltage) and going to 4 kV on a pair of 3-500Zs is a good idea. I bought a used AL-1200 and it was a very good deal. Yes, it was old and, yes, I had to replace the filter capacitors but it was still a good deal. I added slightly increased the bias to get the idle current where I wanted it and added the internal QSK-5 T/R switch and have not looked back.
