[Amps] AL-82 VS Acom 1000

Even if the prices were closer I'd go with the AL82.

As you said, you've got a chance of fixing it and NO chance of fixing 
the 1000. If it has a microprocessor on it will fail. Maybe not today, 
tomorrow, next month or next year, but it WILL fail.
