[Amps] SS amps and auto-tune. Is it even necessary?

I have two of these.  They have not been trouble free, but part has been my fault.  They have been reliable for the last year after changing some caps

I also took out the load resistors and replaced them with a 100w flange resistor mounted on a heatsink.
