Thinking out loud 3-500Z and the like gettering with RF?

I have seen on Ebay and Alibaba small to medium RF induction heating boards for sale for not a whole lot of $$. Has anyone tried to use one of these in a setup with a coil of suitable size to cherry the plates of a 3-500Z or 572B?
In theory it should work OK and it would be a lot safer than running 500 V or there about and positive grid voltage to cherry the plates. The tube manufacturers used this setup in production to flash the getters on smaller tubes. Your thoughts??

Thanks,

## whats wrong with using low B+ voltage...and positive grid V ? Then you can gets the plate red...with low B+. You would not have to go as low as 500 V on a 3-500Z either. 1-2 kv would work just fine.
Just make sure you have lots of air on the tubes. BTW, just how long do the tubes have to run red...in order to getter them ?
