If you can find one, and tolerate the weight of the power supply, the 
Gates HFL-1000 is designed to do just that!

Uses a 4CX1000 in the final. Takes just a few watts to drive it and will 
run continuously at 1KW out just about forever.  Clean output signal, 
and will heat the house as a bonus. Rack mounted if you wish.
