[Amps] QRO 2500dx-- heating up

I have a 2500dx that has ran great over the years. Here is the issue now----I was running about 800 watts rtty and all of a sudden the amp shut off, just like you turned the switch off. Wondering what the heck happened and completely stunned, after about 2 minutes it turned back on.
Switching over to the dummy load it did the same thing? Different bands do the same thing. So I set an external fan on top of the amp to help remove some of the heat from the interior.
Typically the temperature at the tubes run about 140- 155 degrees Fahrenheit @ 800 out rtty. So again, same setup with the external fan helping to remove some heat-The amp runs great.

It appears that something is heating up from excessive heat and shutting off the amp. The internal fan appears to be working normally.

Any input from others is appreciated!

Regards,
Larry
