[Amps] OM Power Amps

Hi Bert,
If you seriously have used SO2R you know that things have to move very fast
between the run and the mult stations your chasing on the second radio.
Literally less then 250 ms switching and doing this hundreds of times. Not
practicle. The PI-L network that is tuned with the motors would not be
able to do this. Hence that is not part of the feature set for this
amplifier.

As to multiple antenna outputs, that is s sticky wicket. The amp has built
in relay drivers so you can have many antennas on the same band or other
bands and selected by a well designed external antenna switch, it also can
select your band pass filters for you too without the need for a band
decoder. Tibi and Jozef are well known CW contesting ops and as such they
have made good selections for price performance. Take time to read the
manual and I am positive you will see that the features in the amp are well
thought out and they give you access to allot of the internal functions.
Like EBS tweaking to your liking. You can run the amp from your USB port
as well via an adapter, but it may make more sense to run your amp via the
setups shown in the manual for seamless integration or from the LAN port of
your PC. OM integrates very well in my SO2R set up with my K3s and Icoms
using Wintest and for DXING with two radios using DX4Win.

Thanks for checking it out.
Regards to the group
Jay, WX0B
