I agree, that needs further explanation.

Also, I still have not seen any mention of an antenna tuner, whether
one is built in or if an external one is needed, or if none is needed
at all, which I doubt. 

A legal limit external autotuner such as the Palstar HF-Auto will add
about $1500 to the price.
