[Amps] Sunset of old technologies

Our kids and probably grand kids will be old and possibly gone, while
there will still be thousands of today's radios on the used market, so
you'll still be able to purchase "real" radios, CHEAP even though the
SDRs may offer better signals

I'm quite comfortable with SDRs as I spent much of my life working with
computers and I even have work toward my masters in the field, but I
have to admit, I like the feel of the top end, real radios and I like
the glow of glass tubes in amps even though all of my amps are either
SS, or external anode types. OTOH I have shelves loaded with 813s,
4-1000s, and even the Russian Pentodes that I'm going to build into
amps...someday<sigh>

But if you don't like mice, I'm sure we can find a "trackball" somewhere
<:-)
