Good point. Induced voltage from a nearby lightning strike could be a
serious problem.

## If thats the case, then why dont we ever hear of SS  100-200 watt  xcvrs 
blowing up ?    Or do they just blow up on RX..or perhaps the PIN diode 
TR portion blows up...saving both the RX + TX.
