Measured with a Millen GDO, self-resonance on the B&W 800 is near 24 MHz.
The B&W 802 is better on 12m but I've been replacing the plate choke in my
older Alpha amps with the RF Parts RFC3.  The staggered taper winding has
worked well on all bands.  The wire size is a bit small but seems fine for a
single 8877.
