If you want to save a LOT of shipping $$$, go directly to either a UPS 
or FedEx shipping terminal. They are sometimes difficult to find, I have 
saved a more than a few deals by doing this.

Stay out of the store front, life scan, goofy "thinking of you" card and 
whatever guys. To them it is just another package.
