No problem running them on 50Hz.
I have two of them in use.
Heater voltage measures exactly 7.5V when correctly tapped for 240V mains at
my 235V.
Source: Henry 2000D/3000D generators.
I guess the 8K transformers will be identical.

##  I know a fellow who has a lot of them.   These are identical
to the ones used in the henry 8 K ultra, which are Z limited types.
IE: the max cold start current is limited to double the normal 
50A running current.  220- 240 vac input.   Dunno if they will run 
ok on 50hz though.   Dunno if he would be willing to sell one or not.
They are in storage right now
