The real problem is the layout and anode coupling to everything around it, 
it is not a tube to be put in the smallest possible enclosure unless it is 
plywood!

The added L before the the Tune cap or the normal10M coil tapped by the Tune 
cap concept has been around since the 30's for the big tubes used in SW 
Broadcasting.

The YC-156 is easy to get on 15M and requires some TLC with the input and 
output circuitry in order to get good efficiency on 10. Heck, the MRI 
machines that use it are up at 60 mHz.
