It would be fine if the people who invented our hobby still defined it
to this day, but they do not.  The hobby is overrun with religious
leaders with everything to say and nothing to contribute - and as you
say, the general public ignorantly laps up all the fake leadership, and
wonders why we stay on the road to nowhere.

Little or no technical content of ham radio is delivered by narcissists,
yet ALL the political content IS.  I'm sick of it.  I'm going to point
it out and brutally expose participants.  The shame and embarrassment
will be palpable.  They can run and hide, or fight.  I don't care which.
