Your modern rig instruction manual should have the numbers you are  
looking for.
Maximum current is just as important as maximum voltage.  If your rig  
uses an open collector transistor instead of a relay, it might be good  
practice to add a "snubber" diode across the circuit to prevent back  
emf from the amp's relay.
