de Mike VE9AA Thanks fellas..I now have some good leads on 811A's and 572B's
and have some decisions to make.

I (VE9AA) did a search and do see some on eBay, but not :

www.kijiji.ca

or http://www.kwarc.org/swapshop/ (main one for Canada)

http://swap.qth.com (main one for USA & some Canada )

or www.rfparts.com (at least not yet)

http://ve1pjs.com/swap.html

(the ve1pjs swap is more or less local to me)

==========------------------

You can get Sino 811A from TubeDepot.com for 26.95 each.

He also has a US Version for 89.95.

=============

I bought two quads of Cetron branded NOS 811As from Surplussales of Nebraska
6-7 years ago. They seem to still stock them:
Tubes: Transmitting
<https://www.surplussales.com/Tubes-Sock-Acc/100/TubesListed_100up_2.html> &
Receiving: Starting with "100" and up (surplussales.com)
Mine are date coded 1989. They work just fine in my hombrewed
"nostalgia-PA".

===============

I bought a set of 811As for my AL811H around October from Ameritron/MFJ.

==============

The guy who sells Matchlett tubes will have them. The 572Bs he supplies are
very good so I assume the 811As are as well. He often advertises on E-Bay,
sometimes QRZ.com.

RF Parts has a new supply of tubes that are undergoing testing.

They may have them available after the first of the year.

Contact sales at rfparts.com and get on their list.

They will also have 572B tubes and possibly the 811H-PRC with the graphite
anode.

So RFParts may be another source.

Thanks everyone!

Subject: Source of 811A or 572B tubes?

Fixing up my old backup AL-811H amplifier but down to my last of my last of
my 811A tubes.

rfparts.com is showing no stock of 811A's or 572B's.

Is there another source out there somewhere?

Thanks
