[Amps] anyone build an amplifier use 6T51 glass buble?

Interesting,
In the 60's I ran two 250TH tubes in grounded grid driven by a pair of 6146B tubes. My exciter was a 20A.
It worked great, however, I did have to provide grid bias to get the appropriate idle current.
This tube has higher mu that the 250TH and would be a good possibility for G-G use but the gain would
be low compared to the more modern tubes that have mu of 200 or more.
Mind you a good portion of the output would be contributed by the driver and this tube would possibly take 150 to 200 watts
of drive.

As far as socket goes, one could easily be fabricated, I'm sure. It would make for an interesting experiment.
Cobble an amplifier together and let us know. I think this tube has been around for some time and probably still a lot
of Russian surplus out there.

I am sure that the IMD would be no worse than a 4-1000A, or 4-400 in G-G which I have never seen any IMD figures published.

There are a few manufacturers in China, one of them located our city:D, If
Its driveing power not too high, I want build one.
