Missed one item. IF either / both coils need to be tweaked, the flat wound
strap coils are
dead easy..vs  tubing.  Just undo strap at one end, snip a bit off, then
re-punch the hole.  U won't have to increase either uh.  If anything, u
might have to decrease the MAIN coil by a tiny bit.  Leave the 1st coil
alone.

Strap coils are unique, in that u don't get the proximity effect between
turns like tubing.  IE: zero C between trunks on strap coils, since they
look like 2 x knife edges facing each other.

Spacing between turns on strap coils can be very close.  On tubing coils,
spacing between turns greatly affects the uh.

On this 10 kw  6m  amp I designed for scott, the L-PI was also used.  But
on 6m, and  with higher B+, and higher current, there is almost zero wiggle
room   Tube C on the 3CX-6000A7 is a helluva lot more than the 8877..whicvh
rises a bunch when in the socket, die to proximity of lower anode fins to
chassis below.
