soo, those are different tubes? 4CX800 and GU74B?

I have in my both Alphas 91b, GU74B...

Peter that was a damn good deal....

But, then Golf costs 15000 to 20000 Dem, today,
similar figures, but  in Euro's...

I paid 80,-DM for a pair in 1999 and never saw a 4CX800.
GU74b is specified with 600W anode dissipation.

At least 10 years ago at Friedrichshafen messe, Hamradio,
I have had bought a pair of GU74B (NOS) for 170,00 Euro...

That was on stand of Ukrainan amateur radio society stand, Hall1...

Guess, i was not smart enough to buy dozen of hem ;)

GU-74B is the correct tube and here's a link that I have used with no

I have bought off of ebay with real horror show results. DX engineering
used to guarantee their tubes for a year which is a very good thing but
check to make sure.
