Unfortunately pieces of the company are not available for sale. Martin wants to sell the entire company as one piece.
It has been rumored that DX engineering wanted to purchase a piece of MFJ namely the Ameritron and Cushcraft antenna division.
They were turned down.  Honestly I do not see the value in anyone purchasing Ameritron.  Most of their line of equipment is
vacuum tube based and the supply of vacuum tubes is drying up.  Russian supplies are not available unless you purchase
through a third party in another country, and Chinese tubes are of such dubious quality.  I do not see new vacuum tube based
amplifiers being a viable product going forward in the next 5 years.

Wow, what sad and disruptive news.  My first purchase from MFJ was one of his audio filter boards (BX-2?).  I certainly hope that other entrepreneurial souls will purchase pieces of the company.
