Offering to the DX'er/Contestor a near mint 10-160m Ameritron AL1200 amplifier  with an  instant on (no warm up) full output Eimac 3CX1200A7 reconfigured for sustained higher output levels.   The filter capacitor board has been retrofitted with ten (10) Nichicons rated at 
470mFd/450vdc resulting in  higher voltage breakdown levels and  a more stable plate voltage with hard driving voice peaks. A rear panel rocker switch toggles in a relay to select either 
3600/4000VDC plate voltage. Output is 1600w (low) and 1800W (high) with only 
100w of drive. Additional  power output can be safely anticipated with additional drive levels.  The amp has the OEM step start, P.Dahl Hipersil,and the EBM high volume super quiet cast aluminum blower. $1825. Prefer pickup in the Scranton, PA or New York City area. Reluctantly, would consider shipping in three cartons (xmfr, deck,tube)  since the xmfr is designed for easy removal and replacement.
