The OEM 3cx1200A7 tube has been replaced with a powerhouse Eimac 3cx1500A7 (8877) resulting in easily achieved power output levels of 1850 watts w/100w of drive. The Hipersil power supply filters were replaced with 470/450 Nichicons for extraordinary voltage stability on voice peaks. Other critical circuit changes were made to accommodate the higher output levels of the replacement tube.The filament time delay relay is fully dial adjustable from .1 second up to 10 minutes for proper cathode (180 seconds minimum) heating. The tank circuit and air variables are broadbanded to allow 1mHz excursions without retuning. A front panel adjustable "T" match ensures a 1:1 swr input.The 12VDC antenna relay is compatible with any solid state exciter. Operates only on 220VAC.
