[Antennaware] 20m dipole

Hi all,
        I'm new to the group and this is my first post (so be easy on me).

Here in the UK I have been trying to find a single element rotary dipole for 20m to put on my mast.
It seems that no one sells them over here. 
So I have decided to make my own.  I was thinking of using 2 half wave CB dipoles back to back with the coils removed.
Would I be best to feed them with a 1 to 1 balun or direct with coax?
