try one of small loop designs, for example a FLAG (K6SE Design) or a K9AY Antenna.

I have one of those for 80m and it works quite well. But make sure, to put it 
not too close to your TX antenna because of possible interaction.

Only Reception with good gain and low noise  
  
Now with my dipole I have but high level of noise that with my
