Greetings,

Thanks for the responses.  Rick, NQ4I, pointed me in the right 
direction.  The answer was in an example file for a Hy-Gain yagi that 
was included in the YO distribution.

You measure the exposed tubing, and use that value in the Taper menu.

I am relieved to confirm this, as the yagi is scheduled to be put on the 
tower this weekend!

The yagi?  It's a 5 element 15m monobander on a 24 foot boom that 
started life as a Hy-Gain 105BA.  It's going on a swinging gate sidearm 
at 70'.
