I don't feel qualified to answer your question. If you are not making 
progress you can write to my son KZ7Z. I don't fool around with coax often. 
I use 600 ohm open wire line with a current 4:1 baulin and good ant tuner. I 
can use the whole band and use the ant on other bands.
