SRAL HEADQUARTERS, OH2HQ, FOR IARU 2002 -PREPARATIONS ACCELERATING TO FULL SPEED


Gathering of operators and stations for OH2HQ operation
for IARU2002 is progressing.

OH2HQ callsign has been acquired and a special prefix is
discussed with Finnish Authorities.

Kickoff meeting for the headquarters operation is in SRAL
Summer Camp, Himos, Jamsa by Thursday at 16.00 in The Big Pavilion.

Target is simple: to set a new record in HQ category.

Stations are located in Southern Finland for lower bands and upper bands
are in more Northern Finland to ease up access to European mainland.


OH2HQ Headquarters is in cooperation with the WRTC2002 Organising Committee.


We need more operators because of some cancellations and we
encourage more international WRTC 2002 visitors to join the team.
