Tällainen kisa tällä kertaa, kivaa oli. Kiitos OH-miehille
kusoista ja onnittelut 8X:n tiimille hienosta tuloksesta.

Comments:
This was a lot of fun once again, with a lot of activity from all over.
DX conditions on 20/40 were decent, and even 15 showed some
signs of life towards the East. Nice to hear the increasing number
of Chinese hams again.
But we really really really need 15m (and eventually 10m) to start
opening up properly. This will decrease the load on 20m, which in
SSB contests has begun feeling crazy with all of us over the whole
world packed onto it. These SSB contests can be quite mentally
exhausting in that regard. I never thought I would say this, but I actually
opted for 40m SSB once instead of 20m SSB in this contest, although
not just to relieve the stress! When is that next CW contest again?
Last year after WPX SSB I wrote about "Fun Light" being my favorite
contest beverage. Well this year I accidentally coated the hamshack floor
with it as I kicked over the pitcher when tiredly returning from a break at
5am Sunday morning..... So got some exercise running full-speed to get
my towel before the wooden floor planks soaked it all up, and at least
I guess the smell of my sweat was a bit mitigated by the nicer scent :)
Many thanks to all for the QSOs! And thanks again to Jukka OH6LI and
Merja for letting me use the station and for heating up the Hirsijärvi
Carlton
before my arrival on Friday. Another weekend of fun and learning-by-doing
on the air.
