Tietenkin tämä edellyttää, että DXCC-lautakunta on päättänyt Curacaosta
tulevan uuden maan. Vielä tällaista päätöstä ei ole. Jos tämä tapahtuu
jälkikäteen niin silloinhan ei kontestin aikana uutta kerrointa vielä olisi.
Nyt tilanne näyttää sikäli vahvemmalta kuin aiemmin, koska DX-uutisia
lainatakseni:

"Dutch Antilles sign declaration reforming their status Delegations from the
Dutch Antilles signed a declaration today (September 10th) in The Hague
today reforming the status of these five former Dutch island colonies in the
Caribbean. As of October 10th, the Dutch Antilles will cease to exist as a
country. Curacao and St Maarten will become separate countries within the
Kingdom of the Netherlands, while Bonaire, Saba and St Eustatius will become
special Dutch municipalities. Aruba already had a separate status. The
ceremony was attended by Prince Willem-Alexander and Deputy Kingdom
Relations Minister Ank Bijleveld and caretaker Prime Minister Jan Peter
Balkenende  The prime minister called the declaration “a new chapter” . The
intensive process which has taken five years is supposed to give the larger
islands more autonomy.  


So.....

    * The two current DXCC entities of PJ2/PJ4 Leeward Islands and
PJ5/PJ6/PJ7 Windward Islands are expected to be deleted.
    * St. Maarten (PJ7) will become a new DXCC entity.
    * Curacao(PJ2) will become a new DXCC entity.
    * Bonaire (PJ4) will become a new DXCC entity.
    * Saba (PJ6) along with St. Eustatius (PJ5) will become a single DXCC
entity due to their proximity to each other."
