Comments:

High bands went a bit better than last year, with quite odd openings  
on 10m and
15m at nights. On low bands I suffered even more than last year.  Occasionally
I felt like I was in a vacuum, hearing nothing but my neighbours at OH8A some
150 km SW from me having nice runs on 40m. At the same time I went through all
the bands several times with no qsos at all.

The equipment worked perfectly and even the operator stayed pretty  
fresh almost
throughout most of the contest hours.  On Sunday noon, however, something
suddenly caused my operating PC to boot itself.  During/after the incident the
PC mouse went crazy causing me some extra gray hair for the following  
operating
hours, e.g. by forcing me to constantly reactivate the operating radio/window
etc.   Fortunately the somehow "injected" mouse slowly calmed down / got tired
towards the end of the contest. Or maybe I just got used to it.

Finally, I'm happy to claim a new OH record based on a bit better multiplier
count than in 2011.

Thanks to the Arcala team for all the support once again. I hope to be back in
CQWW RTTY 2013.  Until then, CU on CW and SSB as well.  GL in the pileups!
