[CCF] [N1MM+] Two bugs in Scandinavian contest ?

Hello, Ingo!

This message below and the next one deals with a few issues
regarding N1MM+ and SAC-CW (I guess SAC-SSB as well), as
well as the structure of SAC-rules. It does not directly
affect Scandinavian operators, except for the ability of
foreign participants to zoom in on missing multipliers.

Cheers/73, "Zaba" OH1ZAA NN0Y (OF4BCS in SAC-CW)

N1MM+ logging now also checked for countries like LA and OZ ...

LA/ or OZ/ does not automatically deliver LA0 or OZ0 but the
multiplier is modulated with the number of the following call.

P.S. From last Wednesday till December 23rd, OH-stations are
allowed to use the OF-prefix due to the 100 years Anniversary
of the Finnish Amateur Radio League (SRAL).

A lot of fun can be had with virtual or hypothetical logging.

In N1MM+ I created a SAC CW log for my Stateside NN0Y call.

N1MM+ uses its own rules for the OH-prefixes! I have not tested
(yet) what it does for the other Scandinavian countries.

With OH0/ I get OH0 for a multiplier, which is correct looking
from any viewpoint.

With OH/ it does not deliver the OH0-multiplier, but it combines
it with the number of the following callsign, e.g. OH/XF4Z yields
an OH4-multiplier, which would be correct DXCC-wise. So that is
fine with me. BUT OH/ZZ0ZZ yields an OH0-multiplier, according
to existent SAC-rules, but it is DXCC-dubious. Finally OH3/YY4YY
delivers an OH3-multiplier which is according to geography.

It is very hard to write perfect rules in complicated situations.

Finland is the only country in the Scandinavian group of multipliers,
where the 0 projects to a separate DXCC and a multiplier. According
to Finnish telecom rules Kim's proper callsign structure would be
e.g. OH/P5ZZ for mainland Finland and OH0/P5ZZ for the Aland Islands.
Foreigners need to use those prefixes to indicate the geographical
location. A valid alternative for mainland Finland would be e.g.
OH1/P5ZZ, OH2/P5ZZ .. etc. ---> the legacy "divide" of provinces.

It is a bit hard to swallow, that a OH/P5ZZ mainland callsign would
deliver an OH0 multiplier. Thus for perfection two things are needed.

I will inform the SAC Committee that the rules are not perfect,
and those should be clarified.

The N1MM software should treat the OH0/ prefix for a OH0-multiplier,
and the OH/-prefix for ????

Now after writing the above I find myself caught in a labyrinth.
Where to assign the OH/ prefix if not to OH0? Should there be an
eleventh multiplier, or could it stand in as a bonus for a missed
OHx mainland multiplier? Or, as much I dislike the controversy
with the DXCC-dislocation, should it count as an OH0 after all?
In that case N1MM+ is probably already up-to-date. I will check
what it does if OH3/P5ZZ is used as the callsign.

In any case the SAC rules could be more explicit on this issue.

P.S. As far as I know there are only unique OJ0-calls, no OJ0/
