This hits it right on the head....  

SS is a good model of what the 24-hr category can look like, stretched
over 48, not 30 hours.  Not for everyone certainly, and real contesters
will still run 48 hours, but this would let the "less gifted" among us to
"be somebody"....  I'd be there with bells on, just as I am in SS.
