24-Hr Single-Op Assisted

You gotta be kidding...just because I elect to enter an "assisted" category, I am
now entitled to score only 24 hours of my log? I don't believe that being single-op
assisted instantly qualifies me for a sub-standard rating and therefore a waste of
my other 24 hours of operating! I hardly think that anyone will enter such an event
with the idea of participating for 48 hours so that half the time spent hallucinating,
screaming into the microphone and listening to static on 160 will go out the window...
unless you plan to suggest a separate Check-Log/Assisted category for the remaining
24 hours of operation.
What do you think...yet another new family of contest categories:
Check-Log
Check-Log/Assisted
Check-Log/Single Band
and of course the various combinations of low-power and QRP classes. Seems to me
you have spent to much time in high strength RF fields!! I guess I will have to put
off my multiple amplifier project because I have to plan my strategy for the check log.
