Subject: Building a New Shack

It looks like I'll be putting together a new room in the house for hte 
radios.  The room (presently unfinished in the corner of the basement 
underneath a porch) is approximately 8 ft x 8 ft in size and has neither 
heat nor electricity. 

I know -- in basic terms -- what I want to do:  
 easy entrance for cables from the outside
 separate AC circuits with master kill switches
 good lighting and ventilation

I'm looking for advice on what else I should consider -- in general or 
specific terms.

Please send your comments directly to me and I'll summarize for those 
requesting.
