"My award for committment goes to X5EBL. You know, the guy that
doesn't count for anything? If he's a no pointer in my log,
then his whole score must be zero. But he's in there contest
after contest, making zero point Q's. I have no politcal
position on this subject, and I don't know what his is. But
he must love contesting..."
My reaction was, well, since this dude doesn't get any points for his QSOs,
then at least he shouldn't have to worry about chasing multipliers, since he
wouldn't have anything to multiply them with.
Then Billy Lunt advised us that X5EBL counts for points, but not for a
multiplier. I guess that helps us, 'cause we get points out of the QSO. But
following Tony's logic, if we don't get multipliers for him, then he
shouldn't get multipliers for us. Which still means that, for all of his
efforts, he ends up with a score of nada, zip, zero. I agree with Tony;
whatever his gig is, he sure must like it!
Two additional questions come to mind:
1. If he submitted a log, (although for zero points), where could I find
his score listing in QST, since he is evidently the legendary Man Without a
Country?
2. I wonder if he operates the Sprint?
