I will blame lack of sleep.

Forgot to say, my operation was CW only.

    Final Score = 151618 points.

 Equipment:

	Ten-Tec Omni 6 + SB1000 ~550w out
	assorted wires, tree assisted:
	 (80/40/20/15/10) 95 ft. dipole at 65 ft.
	 (20) 20m trigonal beam at 40 ft. (see QST April 1994)

A fun contest! I got on Sat. evening, planning to operate only a few hours,
then ended up operating most of the rest of the contest. Condx were pretty
good, even in IL. Best rate 109/hr or 132/10 min.

Subject: MOVE DATES FOR WPX

I agree with the suggestion to move CQ-WPX CW up to april
since Dayton is moving to May. I think this would stimulate
activity. Conditions are usually stinko in May. [Wayne, NX7K]

Only if you ignore the contesters in the southern hemisphere.

Of course, the "major" contests already hurt them because those are
held in their summer and typically end mid-morning on Monday. You
ever wonder why there is relatively little activity from VK and ZL
in e.g. CQWW? - when I did M/S CQWW-cw a few years ago we had to
call "CQ ZL" to find one on 15m a couple of hours before the contest
ended.

To be fair, perhaps we should just move all the international contests
to March and September and the domestic ones to December....
