The CAC wrote a letter to the ARRL Membership Services department regarding this
particular OO and his deplorable behavior during the ARRL Sweepstakes. The OO
was removed from his position early this year.

Does anyone know the 'phone number for Ron Steiner, K6KEO, who manages the
NCDXF slide and video library? - or better still, an Internet address if he
is on-line?
                                    Thanks, John, NT5C.

(I realize this is not a CONTEST issue - but it is something that
contesters are very likely to know).

Hi, thanks for your comments. I was especially impressed with your desire
for a resolution to this ongoing problem! Your point about it not just
being SSTV, but also nets, etc, also impressed me. My proposal is to
back a CONTEST FREE ZONE at the top of the band. This could be a refuge
for SSTV or whatever, eliminating QRM to contesters. That is my opinion!

73 es Thanks for condoning my orignal post (but it has raised discussion).
