Hello contesters,
During this weekend (in the IOTA contest) I'll trying to work it from
Timoteo Dominguez island (SA-057), but until this moment I haven't
the permit for landing in this island, because this island is under
the Rio de la Plata's treaty, and I need a special permit from CX's
government for landing in this island, because it is unhabited and
is a natural reserve. If I can't gert this permit I'll work the
contest from Martin Garcia island (IOTA SA-055). Also from Martin
Garcia is. will work during the contest LW8EXF. She'll work all
band CW & SSB with 100 Watts and a Butternut HF6V antenna.
I hope to meet you during this weekend from some of this island.

DR OM,

I recommend you check and see if there is a third party agreement between
the U.S. and Zimbabwe. My ARRL Operating Manual, copyright 1995, does
not show Zimbabwe as one of the countries with whom the U.S. has a third
party agreement.

GL and 73,

Dale, KG5U

I am looking for help in getting a license there, i'll risk taking my own
radios and stuff, I just need the license to do so. It's where my church is
going, and I was planning on trying to relay messages back to my church here
in the US. I will try the Society Of Midwest Contesters, I have an elmer from
there who could teach me how to operate, and I am quite seasoned in
contesting.

Tnx for the advice
