I did a survey on top band about the EWE antenna. You conclusions absolutely
agree with the vast majority of respondents to the EWE users survey. "It's
better than nothing, and worse than a short Beverage". The hapopy users had
no other antennas, but even the people with short Beverages found them
better.

At my location with poor soil, the EWE doesn't work at all unless it's placed
over a ground screen.

With computer models of antennas close or connected to real earth, things
often don't work the way they model.

Subject: Want Rate Sheets !
Message-ID: <31491D11.21D5 at akorn.net>

We are working on an archive of rate sheets that people can come and view
via the WWW.

I would like to receive rate sheets from top scoring stations in each
category. Such as top ten SOA, top 6 MS or MM, etc... Basically if
your score is something someone regionally would be chasing next year,
we would like to show it off.

Just attach the rate sheets to an email and send them to me at
km9p at contesting.com. There are a few examples there already. Point your
browsers to http://www.contesting.com/ratesheets/. K5ZD has also posted
some post contest stories that are very interesting reading. Point to
http://www.contesting.com/k5zd/stories.html.

This has a chance to be an excellent contest resource, but it's only going
to be as good as participation. I greatly appreciate any assistance you
guys can give to the project.

Scott,

I bought my I.C.E. products from Cable X-perts. They advertise in QST, CQ
and Amateur Trader. 1-800-828-3340 (orders only) 708-506-1886 (tech info)
