Hello fellow contesters!
I just want to announce that it now is OK to submit your SAC
(Scandinavian Activity Contest) logs via E-mail. The deadline is
October 31st so you still have a few days to prepare the logs.
I need your log in ASCII format. Remember to send your summary sheet
with your full "snail mail" address and please also tell what rig,
power and antennas you were using (for some interesting statistics).
The best way to do it is to zip your files and send it along with your
mail.
Soon I will announce a WEB-site for SAC Claimed Scores where you can
see the progressing of the logs.

The DVPTSR is only for the use with the K1EA DVP. You should set up CT to
select an external voice keyer via an LPT port.

Try setting the Contest Card up as LPT1. Somewhere around version 9.19 some
changes were made to CT to add control for additional devices via the LPT.
That broke the Contest Card from working as LPT2.

This is to confirm that XY1U Zone 26 is now QRV from Yangon at 1200
Z on
25th October 1996.
The DX Pedition will run until 4th November and will start with an
entry
in the CQWW SSB.
JA8CDG will be assisting with the constest station, but will also
attempt to
operate satellite AO10 and AO13 (mainly Europe, and Far East passes)
during
"off air" periods. Unfortunately since the last operation XY1HT
last
October a 30 storey building has started to grow in the southerly
direction.
The operation is taking place from the Headquarters of the Ministry
of
Hotels and Tourism.

Myself (KT4LD), Pete (KS4XG), and Jim (N3QYE) will be operating W4ATC
during CQWW. It is the North Carolina State University station. We have a
Yagi on top of a building as well as many different dipoles for 80, 40,
and 160. We will be Multi operator station. Although our amplifier broke
last night we are getting it fixed and it should be able to run at least
900 to 1000 watts. If you'd like a special QSL card from the University
send it to the callbook address. We will also be tuned into the packet
cluster. Good Luck to everyone and hope to see you this weekend.
