OK, looks like everyone's putting in their 2 cents worth on it.

There was only one call I wanted, and I wanted it bad: K1RK

My name is Kirk, and I have to repeat it often. I figured that it
might be a bit easier after time with that callsign.

A club station got it several weeks ago. I sure hope it was really a club.

I'm keeping WR3O, despite planning to stay here in Tennessee. Competition
will be tough for "4" calls. I've been a "3" since age 14 (ex WB3FAX.)

Besides, I kinda like it. I occasionally get called "WRthirty" on phone,
but never on CW!! :-)

I think I'll put the thirty bux into a shiny new call sign badge. :-)

Good luck on your new calls.

And how many stress risers do you create with the file?? Not to mention
spreading tiny rust particles onto the steel, which helps rust start
faster?

The J3A contest group from Grenada could use another one or two ops
for the CQ WW SSB contest in late October. We have a very good site
to operate from - there is a 2 ele 40 meter beam up - the rest of the
antennae will need to be erected by the group.

Lots of space in well lit building for staion set up.

For any seriously interested, please call me 513-434-9616 or 434-1616 if
first line is busy.

Subject: Low Pass Filter for 6 meters
Message-ID: <m0uxHIK-0003aBC at sctladm.sctcorp.com>

As I put the finishing touches on my contest station, I've decided
that a low pass filter would be a good addition. There are lots of
good HF low pass filters on the market. I want one that'll pass 6
meters too. The XYL is a no-code tech and will be operating my rig on
6 with a 7 ele. Force 12 yagi. I'm sure that'll attract some attention
that I'd like to minimize if possible. Any suggestions for a source?
Please reply directly to me. Thanks.

Joe, K2YJL
