Peter Dahl sells a transformer that mounts inside a Alpha 77 dx case
which will produce a higher plate voltage.  The new voltage is in
the area of 4500 volts. He recommends you also replace the filter
capacitor at the same time...

I am wondering if anybody has this combination in use and what are the
pro/con of it..

NOTE: This is a single 8877 amplifier


since I have this thing apart are there any other mods worth doing??
