Thanks to all those who replied to my request of the best 40m for the buck
and height for stateside contesting.

Overwhelming choice was the Cushcraft 402 CD.  BTW Cushcraft will release a
new beefed up model in mid- Sept that will not need the modes! (So they say!
:-)  Looks like everyone liked the 70-105 range for height.

I have ordered one and will start stacking 100ft of tower in the next few
weeks.

It sure is great to get the input of this wealth of knowledge before you make
expensive mistakes!

Thanks again...... and look out for me on 40m this fall!!!!!
