I am in favor of changing the WPX CW weekend to April. Conditions during
May leave a lot to be desired from north of the equator.

73, John W2GD/P40W

p.s. P40W will be QRV in the ARRL DX CW as a Single OP/High Power/All Band
entry. 160M and 80M on the hour or half-hour during darkness. Favor
operation around 025 on all bands. Good luck to all.

Please...Please...Please!!! Don't move the contest to the last weekend in
April!! I've just started a new regional contest that weekend called the
Ontario QSO Party and it was really difficult picking a weekend when other big
contests weren't going on, long weekends, major hamfests etc. (hi).

Give a guy a break! This thing could turn out as big as the California or the
Pennsylvania QSO Parties.

Hi friends,

I'll try to work everyone from W/VE during next ARRL CW Contest.
40 meters will be the band, with single dipole and 100 watts. Try to
be patient, and if possible, spot me on the cluster...

See you there

Has anyone on this reflector been to the North Cook island of Manihiki?

I need some information from someone that has first hand knowledge of
operating from that location.

I plan to be there for CQWW CW in November. I'm about to book the trip.
This one will cost a bundle and I want it to be a decent contest DXpedition.

Anyone need N. Cook on 160? :')

I have to agree with Steve, aren't the spots all gathered by amatuers and
targeted to amatuers? Lots of spots do help Multi and Assisted Stations. the
internet spots are a great leveler of that part of the playing field. There
aren't many places were you can't get good internet access these days.
