[CQ-Contest] Contesting Amps for Multi-Multi

What is the opinion of this group of the Drake L4B as a workhorse
multi-multi contesting amplifier?  I'm particularly interested in how robust
the power supply is, and how forgiving the amp is for the
late-in-the-contest "oops, I guess I should change the bandswitch, too.."
type of conditions.
