hello oms

i want to say something from the last field day (the first in Greece)
which was at 7-8 of sempteber of last year
the callsings ware sv2aog (george),sv2ayv(fotini-yl of
george),sv2cbi(kostas) & me sv2clj(thomas)
the call was sv2clj /p /qrp only 5 watts with home made
transceiver,phone mode
antennas are all home-made (dipoles-verticals-wire beams)
we took the first place in Greece (with 210 contacts most of them in
20m)
also 5 contacts with USA

the location was just 50m from the borders (north) with Mount Athos
we wish this year to be inside the Mount-athos at the same contest
of course the power was solar with a lot of batteries (the sun was made
many games - bad weather the second day and overcast)
we enjoy it very much & i'm sure that we do it agn this year

best wishes & 73

Kevin,
I agree.....

Plus, with almost every QSO, weak or strong, you get
to hear your call a couple of times, their call a couple
of more times, and the exchange two or three times.

Somewhere, someone convinced them they were
weak as sin and had to repeat everything...all the time!

Looking forward to next year's FD!
