[CQ-Contest] Icom 765 Best Audio?

Hello,

My friend and fellow contester, K0MX, just got a Icom 765.
He is currently using a Heil microphone with the DX element
but, he is not happy with the sound of the audio. What mics
are people using that give them good audio for contesting 
and DXing? Yes, K0MX knows that the Heil DX element is 
supposed to be sharp but, he thinks he could have better
audio for contesting than what he hears when I record 
him. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
