Place a magnesium anode in silt sitting on the floor of your shack. Connect
the anode to all metallic pieces that are normally at ground potential.

Anyway, that's what we do in manholes.

Aloha to all,

One problem with Hawaiian living is corrosion of
CW keys. I have two a G4ZPY straight key, and
a Vibroplex Iambic paddle key. Both are no longer
shiny bright chrome, brass etc. They need cleaned
and polished up badly! I am reluctant to completely
disassemble them to clean, but maybe that is the
best way. And would ordinary kitchen utensil cleaning
products be used, or should something special be done
to clean these up. Many visiting ops to this QTH
have used these in the past few years, and clean
up is due now.

Any thoughts very appreciated befor I dive in on my own.
