Whereas this is probably true about CW and SSB. It certainly is FAR far
from true about the CQWW RTTY trophies/plaques. These are distributed
by Ron, K5DJ, who does most of the plaques for two of the largest and most
successful RTTY contests. He has plaques for 1996 (SEP) in the hands of
folks in Dayton (May 1997).
It might take a while for some to reach DX locations, but it can be done.
The numbers of plaques/trophies might be a few less, but they are both
timely and beautiful.
So CQ does a great job in at least one of there WW divisons, maybe thats
why K5ZD and others are looking forward to next weekend and the 11th
running of the CQWW RTTY contest.
